There is a Community Consultative Committee (CCC) that has met on an ad hoc basis of the last couple of years to discuss the Structure Plan. The CCC is made up of traders, community groups (churches, schools) and 3 residents. At the last Council meeting Banyule Council agreed to increase the number of resident representatives on the CCC who are in the study area. This is in addition to 2 representatives of Save Ivanhoe who attended the most recent CCC as observers. There was also a resignation of one member of the CCC. In summary there are 3 extra positions available on the CCC for residents.
If you would like to nominate to be part of the CCC please contact Council to lodge your expression of interest. You will need to nominate by 30 September 2011. Nomination forms can be found on the Council's website.
